Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges
Returns or exchanges are accepted only under the following circumstances:
- Incorrect Product Delivered
If the item received does not match the product ordered. - Damaged Product on Arrival
If the product is damaged during transit or delivery.
To initiate a return or exchange request, you must contact us within 3 days of receiving the order.
Required Information:
- Order ID
- Clear photos or videos of the product and outer packaging
- Brief description of the issue
Once our team verifies and approves the request, you will be notified accordingly. The returned product must reach us within 14 days from approval. For exchanges, the correct product will be dispatched after we receive the returned item.
Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Cases
We do not accept returns or exchanges in the following situations:
- Minor color, shade, or zari variations due to photography, lighting conditions, or screen resolution differences.
- Change of mind, personal preference, or incorrect assumptions after delivery.
- Products that are used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
- Sarees not returned in original condition with original packaging and tags.
Customers are advised to review product descriptions and images carefully before placing an order.
Refund Policy
If a return is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout (UPI, card, or net banking).
- Refund processing may take 5–7 working days after approval and receipt of the returned item.
Note:
Shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to an error from our side (wrong or damaged product).
Exchange Policy
For approved exchanges:
- The replacement product will be shipped after we receive the returned item.
- Reshipping charges will be covered by The Lavis only in cases of incorrect or damaged deliveries.
Please ensure the item is securely packed to prevent damage during return transit.
Return Shipping Guidelines
- Return instructions and address details will be shared once your request is approved.
- Customers may be required to use a trackable courier service.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the issue occurred due to our mistake.
